Here, each culinary activity brings the opportunity to learn and enjoy the best recipes and cooking methods from all over the Albanian, but also international regions.
Sausage Festival
The Sausage Festival is a unique culinary event where visitors can taste traditional sausage from all over Albania. This festival is the first of its kind and aims to become an annual event with a competitive character. Sausage masters will present their traditional methods and innovations that help preserve the authentic taste of this delicious specialty.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try a variety of sausages, cooked according to special recipes, taste the delicious preparations and give their rating for each type of sausage.
The festival aims to promote sausage masters and offer them the opportunity to share their techniques with others. At the end of the festival, three winners will be announced, and the sausage made by them will be part of our restaurant’s menu, as well as being available for purchase at the village shop .
Festival of the Flis and Pogaça
Flia and pogaçja are an inseparable part of the Albanian culinary tradition, and this festival aims to preserve and promote these traditional dishes. Flia, a food cooked with great effort and passion, is a symbol of hospitality and coexistence.
Pogaçja, a traditional bread, also has great importance in Albanian holidays and cultural events. During the festival, guests can taste the most popular varieties of fli and pogaçja and learn how they are prepared according to traditional methods.
This is the perfect opportunity for those who want to experiment with these dishes and savor the depth of their flavor. The festival will be accompanied by workshops, where cooking experts will demonstrate how to prepare flia and pogaća in the traditional way and will share cooking secrets for creating unforgettable flavors.
Easter festival
Pasuli is one of the most traditional and beloved foods for Albanians and other peoples of the region. This festival offers visitors the opportunity to try a variety of pasuli variations, cooked according to different recipes from different Albanian and regional regions. Each year, we will bring new variations of pasuli, focusing on the richest and most authentic preparations of this food.
During this festival, there will also be cooking workshops, where guests can learn how to prepare pasuli in different ways and how to use natural ingredients to create unique flavors.
Culinary weeks
Several times during the year , Culinary Weeks will be organized, offering opportunities to taste different regional and international cuisines. During these weeks, renowned chefs from the Albanian regions, as well as international chefs, will be invited to bring flavors and cooking techniques from different regions of the world.
Participants can taste traditional Albanian and international recipes, as well as learn new techniques that have a global impact on gastronomy. During these activities, guests can attend cooking workshops, where chefs will explain each stage of food preparation and provide tips on using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
The activities will be accompanied by tastings and the opportunity to learn about the processes of recipe creation and food preparation.
Raki Festival
This festival is a new and very special event, which will take place during the month of September, where the preparation of traditional rakia from Albanian regions will be promoted.
Rakia is a drink that has a special place in Albanian culture and this festival aims to introduce guests to the different methods of producing rakia, taking into account the variations that exist in each region.
Raki masters will share with visitors distillation techniques and the help of nature in creating different flavors. Visitors will have the opportunity to try raki produced in traditional ways and taste different types, each with its own unique flavor. The Raki Festival also aims to create a natural and safe space to promote a culture of raki production with sustainable and ecological methodologies.
