The tourist village “Kasollet e Zanave” offers a rich program of educational activities, which aim to connect children and visitors with nature, traditions and village life. The activities are structured to provide a unique learning and entertaining experience.

Visit to the animal park

At our zoo, children and visitors will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of animals, becoming familiar with their characteristics, feeding, and caring for them.

They will be able to see, touch, and feed the animals up close, creating a special bond with them and developing a greater sense of responsibility towards nature and fauna.

This experience provides educational opportunities, where children understand the importance of protecting animals and ecosystems, contributing to the formation of a more environmentally conscious and caring generation.

Milking cows, sheep and goats

Every day, at certain times, demonstrations of milking cows, sheep and goats are organized. Children will learn about the process of milk production, feeding and maintenance of these animals. This activity is not only educational, but also offers children an opportunity to play the role of a farmer in a safe and supervised environment.

Mushroom picking

Dozens of species of mushrooms grow in the mountains surrounding the village, some of which are very good for eating and are often used in cooking. This natural treasure is another educational opportunity offered at the "Kasollet e Zanave" Tourist Village, where visitors can learn about the world of mushrooms and their importance in ecosystems. They can learn how these mushrooms grow and how to distinguish those that are safe for consumption from those that are dangerous. Together with instructors, parents and children will have the opportunity to go on expeditions in the surrounding mountains to search for and collect various mushrooms, learning more about the nature and biodiversity of this region.

Camping for children

A unique adventure for children, where they can spend a night in tents set up in a safe area within the tourist village. Under the supervision of trained educators, children will learn practical skills for survival in the wild, such as starting a fire, building shelters and orienteering. Parents who will be accommodated in the huts have the opportunity to visit their children at night to be sure of their well-being.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Cinema in the courtyard of the animal garden

During the evenings, film and documentary screenings for children are organized in the zoo's courtyard, mainly focused on the plant and animal world of the earth.

This special experience allows children to feel like they are part of a magical adventure, where they will not only enjoy the film, but will also have the opportunity to pet the animals, which roam freely in the yard space.

Educational experience
for school groups

In collaboration with schools from Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, the Presevo Valley and Montenegro, we organize educational visits for students. These programs include hands-on activities in nature, interaction with animals, lectures on biodiversity and traditional rural practices. The aim is to promote environmental education and strengthen connections between young generations from different regions. In addition to educational activities, students will also have food, drinks, a visit to the animal park, and the opportunity to enjoy fun at the playground included in the package.
