A big world, in a small village...
The Kasollet e Zanave Tourist Village is a unique destination located in the heart of the virgin nature of Prapashtica, just 30 kilometers from Prishtina – the capital of the Republic of Kosovo. Located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level, this welcoming village offers not only magnificent views, but also a climate with clean and fresh air all year round. Far from the noise of the city and urban pollution, Kasollet e Zanave is the ideal place for those seeking tranquility, a direct connection with nature and a sustainable tourist experience.
Inspired by Albanian tradition and built on the values of ecology and environmental conservation, the village consists of 22 huts built of wood and natural stone, harmoniously placed in a hilly environment. Each hut is designed to offer maximum comfort, while maintaining a close connection with nature and village life. Visitors can experience the luxury of simplicity, in a space that invites reflection, rest and reconnect with themselves and their family.
Kasollet e Zanave is not just a vacation spot, but a model of sustainable and responsible tourism. With a dedicated team and an organizational structure that includes professionals from various fields, from hospitality, animal care to event management, the village functions as a living organism that places the visitor at the center of every experience.
In the heart of the village is the restaurant, where visitors enjoy traditional recipes and lovingly prepared meals, using fresh ingredients from the village greenhouse and local farmers. Breakfasts on the veranda, dinners by the fire, and the authentic atmosphere transform this restaurant into a meeting point of Albanian taste and spirit.
At the Village Mezetore, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich selection of meze, served in the shade of plum trees, or relax in our two cafes – one near the Zoo and the other near the playground – where the aroma of coffee and local foods mingle with the sounds of nature and the joy of children. These spaces are designed to offer moments of relaxation, conversation and enjoyment for our guests.
Beyond accommodation and cuisine, the “Fairy Huts” Tourist Village offers a wide range of activities designed for all ages. Children can have fun in the Playground, a space filled with lots of fun activities, such as: slides, a football field on straw, an enigmatic labyrinth, wooden swings, jumping on soft hay, bicycle races, water zorbing, and many other games that will make children fulfilled and endlessly happy.
The village shop and bazaar are the vibrant heart of our community, where visitors can find artisanal products, traditional foods, and local crafts lovingly created by local women and men farmers. At the village shop you will find authentic village products made with completely homemade methods, while at the village bazaar you will find fresh produce that comes directly from our villagers’ fields.
The animal garden at Kasollet e Zanave is an educational and recreational space where visitors can interact with animals and experience the atmosphere of village life up close. Spread over 2 hectares, it includes an oval structure with indoor facilities for horses, an animal hotel, equipment rooms, a veterinary clinic and a small village museum, which exhibits traditional objects such as agricultural tools, old pots and textiles, bringing visitors closer to the cultural heritage and life in the past in the village.
Outside, visitors can engage in activities led by our staff and meet a variety of animals, such as: llamas, alpacas, macaques, cows, bulls, goats and kids, sheep and lambs, donkeys, horses, various birds and many other animals.
The garden courtyard, like an open arena, is used for educational shows and events with animals, while during summer evenings, children’s films are shown, with animals present and soft lighting that creates a magical atmosphere.
For adults and groups seeking new emotions, the village offers activities such as: horseback riding, horse-drawn carriage rides, zorbing, hiking, scouting, and in the winter: skiing, ice skating, sledding, tire caravanning and many other activities. Each experience is designed to strengthen the connection with nature, encourage movement and create unforgettable memories with family and friends.
For nature enthusiasts, Kasollet e Zanave offers a camping area of 5000 m², with capacity for 20 campsites, with electricity supply and modern sanitary facilities of 80 m² (toilets, showers, sinks).
The village also has a picnic area – a green, quiet space equipped with barbecues and tables – perfect for families, couples or groups of friends who want to enjoy nature in peace and privacy.
Every visit to the Fairy Cottages contributes to the sustainable development of the rural area, to the empowerment
of local women through employment and training, and in cultivating a new generation that learns to
appreciate nature through play and experience.
We don’t just offer a vacation – we offer a philosophy of life, a meaningful experience, and an invitation.
to be part of a community that loves the land and its goods.
Welcome!
Dear guests,
I am privileged to welcome you to the “Fairy Huts” Tourist Village, a project that we have realized with great dedication and love, with the aim of making it the most attractive point on the tourist map of Kosovo.
What started as a discussion among friends during this decade’s pandemic, when we were all isolated and unable to enjoy nature, has culminated in a major project that aims to change the way we spend our free time.
One of the main goals of the village is to provide an opportunity for quality family time, in an ecosystem that is very different from everyday life. Through various recreational, sports and educational activities, we aim to extend the quality time that parents spend with their children.
For those who are nature and food lovers, the village offers a wide range of outdoor activities and a rich menu of food and drinks. Our restaurant, with architecture inspired by traditional Albanian houses, features various specialties that honor our local and international cuisine. Through the “Cuisine Weeks” program, as part of culinary activities, we will bring chefs from different countries throughout the year, offering a culturally intriguing culinary experience. Visit any page of this website and you will get acquainted with the village’s infrastructure, the recreational and educational activities that take place, as well as the variety of our services.
With the greatest desire for you to spend unforgettable moments and create beautiful memories, I thank you for being part of our journey!
Honestly,
Betim Gashi
Founder and Chairman of the Board
